Currently Mediabids supports the following browsers:
Mozzilla FireFox version 2.0 and above (Info)
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 and above (Info)
Apple Inc Safari version 3.1 and above (Info)
What if I am using a supported browser and still having a problem?
If you are currently using one of the Mediabids supported browsers and still experiencing an issue with the site, please double check the following items:
If you are using Internet Explorer:
- Ensure security and privacy settings are set no higher then 'medium-high'.
- If you have a custom security profile, please be sure to allow 'run Active X controls and plug-ins'. Note: Mediabids only uses native IE Active X controls for dynamic page content.
- If you have a custom privacy profile, please be sure to allow Mediabids cookie privileges. (Privacy Policy)
- If you have modified the 'advanced settings', ensure you have 'Enable native XMLHTML Support' checked.
If you are using Firefox:
- Under the 'Content' tab, ensure that Javascript is enabled.
- Under privacy ensure that 'Accept Cookies From Sites' is enabled, or you have added Mediabids as an exception to allow cookies. (Privacy Policy)
If you are using Safari:
- Under the Security Tab, ensure Javascript is enabled and 'Allow cookies' is enabled. (Privacy Policy)
